Shivsanskruti Samajik and Bahuuddeshiya Trust, Ithihasache Abol Sakshidar Bahuuddeshiya Trust and Zilha Parishad School, Kolewadi in association with Karad, Dist. Educational and historical activities were carried out at Karad, Dist. Satara. On this occasion, the students of the school welcomed the dignitaries to the sound of Lazim and drums on the occasion of the inauguration. Also, in the program Saraswati Vandana, welcome song and speech were presented and Aarti of Chhatrapati Shree Shivaji Maharaj was also performed. In this initiative, the trust provided School Uniforms and Educational Materials to the students, and also distributed Essential Items to the local needy villagers. Also, in this educational and historical activity, elocution and painting competitions were organized for the students at the school level and the winners were given a picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Historical Books as prizes by the trust. Nilesh Arun Sakat, through Ithihasache Abol Sakshidar Bahuuddeshiya Trust, organized an Exhibition of Shivkaleen Historical Weapons for the school students and villagers and informed them about the rare Shivkaleen Weapons. And also, History scholar Mr. Vijay Lohar Sir presented a film about the Conservation of Historical Forts and convinced the students about the information about the forts and the importance of Fort Conservation. Mardani Khel Coach Shivbhakt Shri. Vijay Karale, Karad and their team performed Mardani Khel such as Lathi-Kathi, Fencing, Dandapatta etc. Many villagers of Panchkroshi as well as students from various schools participated spontaneously in this program.
