A blood donation camp was organized at Thane Railway Station on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Trust in association with Shivsanskruti Samajik and Bahuuddeshiya Trust and Suburban Railway Pravasi Ekta Sanstha (Mahasangh). In this blood donation camp, railway passengers and Thane citizens participated spontaneously in this camp by donating blood in large quantities and fulfilling their duty towards the society. The program was inaugurated by the Mrs. Swapnali Kadam, Deputy Superintendent of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Kalwa, Thane, Mr. Keshav Tawde Thane Railway Station Master, Mr. Prabhu Nimbal, Substation Manager, Mr. Nandkumar Deshmukh, President of Suburban Railway Passenger Federation, Dinesh Joshi Sapta. Editor of Thane Navadoot and the idol of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaraya was worshiped by them. This time ex-serviceman Mr. Raju Patil (President, Shri Vajreshwari Yogini Devi Sansthan, Vajreshwari, NSG Commando, Kargil War Winner), Mr. Shiv Shankar Mishra, Dr. Vivek Mishra, Adv. Mr. Dayashankar Mishra, Adv. Shalaka Satam, Adv. Mr. Rajan Pawar, Mr. Seshamani Mishra, Mr. Kisan Bondre, Mr. Mukesh Bhatt, Advocate Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Modi script scholar Mr. Nitinraj Chavan and other dignitaries were present. The attendees were felicitated by gifting a Shawl-Shreephal, bouquet and an inspiring image of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaraya. In this blood donation camp Blood collection and free HIV test was done through Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital Blood bank, T.M.C., Thane. Also free of charge ECG, CBC and other medical check-ups were conducted through Oscar Hospital, Thane. Many Thane citizens took advantage of this. The medical officers and other staff of both the hospitals were honored with the inspiring image of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaraya for their invaluable contribution towards this initiative.
